Excitement reached its peak on Thursday — the last day of the convention as Delegates and guests flood Fiserv Forum to see the final speeches of the RNC. Many were eager to see Trump address the public for the first time since a gunman attempted to assassinate him at a Pennsylvania rally five days earlier.

Nested inside the main perimeter, two additional perimeters occupied the central blocks of downtown Milwaukee. Outside of the perimeter, restaurants buzzed with visitors and Milwaukee-area residents. Activists with signs and megaphones displayed their political views, many protesting Republican policies but some strongly supporting Trump. Convention attendees traveled inside the perimeter from the convention festivities at the Baird Center to the Fiserv Forum, where delegates took their seats on the convention floor.
Officials flood the stage on Thursday afternoon to create a sea of red, white and blue for a group photograph moments before the speakers present their support for Trump's campaign. Delegates were eager to stand behind Trump and his newly announced running mate, J.D. Vance.
Celebrities and top supporters occupied the suite level of the concourse, while guests and alternate delegates occupy the main and upper concourse of the stadium. Police are present as protection for the high security guests like NASCAR icon Richard Petty, who made an appearance on the convention floor, among the most heavity credentialed officials.
Along rivers and roads, teams of police were present on bikes, in cars, on horseback, and even in boats. Secret Service officers and TSA officers monitored checkpoints and in every building and block of the street.
